Tonik Review: One Fantastic Outfit for Adventuring

Let’s talk about Tonik’s Abbey Cycling Tank Top and Lisa Active Wrap Skirt. Don’t they make a nice outfit?! This is my second and third piece that I am reviewing from Tonik and they never disappoint (I also reviewed Tonik’s Maggie Cycling Tank Top). I love the flattering side ruching on the tank top, the functionality of both pieces, and the fun colors, just to name a few!

Abbey Cycling Tank Top

My favorite thing about the Abbey Cycling Tank Top is the way it makes me feel. It is so luxurious and fits me perfectly. The Abbey, along with the Lisa wrap skirt and Tonik’s other items, are made with 50+ UPF sun protection fabric, which means that it protects you from the sun’s UV rays just by wearing the top, allowing only 2% UV transmission to pass through the fabric. It also gives you the soft, heavy feel of the fabric. Additionally, it has a high round neckline and is much longer in the back, which I greatly appreciate. I don’t have to worry that it will ride up when bending over for yoga, or while hiking or running. I have tried so many tops in the past that I constantly need to pull down while I exercise, and it’s a relief that I don’t have to with the Abbey! The side ruching is also a flattering feature that makes this tank top fairly forgiving while I work off the few extra pounds I gained during the pandemic.

This sleeveless tank is also very functional. It features not one, but two back pockets of varying sizes. There is a larger back pocket that can fit a cell phone and a smaller zipper pocket that is perfect for your keys or ID! The Abbey also has reflective trim on the back, which is an awesome safety feature for night-time walks or bike rides.

Did I mention the beautiful colors in the Candy Stripe color option? The top is a beautiful combination of vivid green and black. Turn around and you’ll see a delightful candy stripe! The vibrant rainbow chevron pattern of the Lisa Active Wrap Skirt pairs wonderfully with this top.

Lisa Active Wrap Skirt

I was amazed at how much I adored the Lisa Active Wrap Skirt! I admit that I never thought of wearing a skirt while working out before but decided to give it a try. This wrap skirt has certainly changed my mind! I knew it was going to be pretty with the rainbow chevron pattern, but I didn’t realize how practical it is. The skirt features a hidden pocket in the waistband for your key and Velcro to easily secure the wrap in place or take it off. It’s also so versatile that you can wear the wrap skirt over leggings, shorts, or even a bathing suit. I can’t wait to try it out at the beach and pool! I like that I can look great and have full range of motion so I can still go on adventures in it.

Overall, the Tonik’s Abbey Cycling Tank Top and Lisa Active Wrap Skirt are high-quality active wear with a great fit. They have some awesome unique features, such as the back pockets and reflective trim on the Abbey, the Velcro closure on the Lisa wrap skirt, and the 50+ UPF fabric in both clothing pieces. This outfit is great for hiking, cycling, running, walking, kayaking, yoga, and more. I’ve personally wore them during hiking, running, and yoga without fail. I highly recommend both the Abbey Cycling Tank Top and Lisa Active Wrap Skirt for your next adventure or trip to the gym.
